 Here is a thriller romance with Ingrid Bergman and Cary Grant. I liked her in the hard partying scenes best, flirting with Cary without realising what she was getting into. Bit by bit she ends up in deep water, involved with the American agencies who dealt with cleaning up of ex-German nationals thrown in disparate places as far wide as Brazil in the aftermath of the war. Cary is ambiguos about his feelings for her when he employs her to ensnare a baddie by using all her seductive charms. But there is a sort of happy ending, thanks to Hitchcocks soft spot for good looking women. The film does manage to get quite tense in parts and in the end someone does get his just dessert. A film for die-hards like me following the stars of yester-year . There is a good write-up on this film at Faded Video but watch the film first before reading it.
