I'm not a song and dance man when it comes to films. But when you see talent like you find in this film even I have to yield to it. This sort of stuff from the forties and fifties these days is emulated only once in a blue moon. Talent like Fred Astaire, who is not a looker at all is just unique, and his type of talent has to my knowledge never emerged again. This film is very easy on the eye, with great Technicolor and pretty clever songs such as
'I love Louisa' and clever dance routines to boot. It will easily pass your time.
