Weekend stupor...

The football raged all weekend suspending the need for the finer arts. But in between the brackets my eyes diverted to the screen occassionally and in between a card game or two the Australian 'classic' Malcolm played. Funny what it takes to make a classic. It hardly deserves the tag, were it not for some familiar faces it probably wouldn't. The split car on the promo poster is probably what the audience hangs out for;  and that 'gee wiz What beautiful mind' created that! I guess it has it's charms but they could have done without some of the typical Aussie aggro... and that painful script.
