A Separation (2011) - an Iranian social study

As with all the rave about this film, yes it looks flawless. How did they get everyone to act like they're not acting? The overall feeling for me though was that I did not want to be any of those people. Everyone looked so stressed out, very concerned with doing the right thing. I guess Nader gets my sympathy vote, refusing to 'bend with the wind' and just pay his way out of trouble. But not too much sympathy as he seemed to over react to things. Interesting that even in this highly spiritual society they divorce and send people to gaol at the drop of a hat.
No doubt the quality of this film but ultimately depressing.
