What is this ? A political thriller? A bit insensitive isn't it, given the current political tension with Iran? Hopefully it is not just a thinly disguised call out to war! Surely this is akin to waving the proverbial red cape. The bits I enjoyed most were the scenes with Goodman and Arkin and especially when they're negotiating the price of the fake movie script. There could be a spin-off from this partnership, who knows? The movie does get a bit tense in parts though, especially the street scenes with the mobs in a good old American Western style lynching mood. But the airport scenes were almost laughable, the big American type police cars chasing the big 707 during take-off. Yes right! And as to who gets the bragging rights for getting the six Americans out? Well they say the Canadians should, though apparently everybody had a hand at it. I say don't complicate things, give it to America, they want it bad enough to make a movie about it.
