Keint sten 'im!

In Q&A last night all the panelists queued up to declare their pooh-pooh dislike for one Tony Abbott.
In Singing in the Rain Jean Hagen  declared 'Keint sten 'im!'  'What?! No, no, no!' the elocutioner begged: Say after me: 'Carn't stand him!'. And so on it went. Maybe someone should  have a word with Julia and she could repeat 'Keint sten 'im!' in her own Werribee speak.
I feel for all those in the limelight, 'For the countless confused, accused, misused, strung-out ones an' worse, An' for every hung-up person in the whole wide universe' ? (Dylan). What if they chorused on TV : 'Peter Bedo? Cain't sten' im!' How would that feel?  But maybe you might feel important and maybe Wilde was right when he said that Not being talked about was worse.
Tisk tisk tisk, nothing at all for me to worry about.
